The Equal Opportunity Advisor (EOA) ensures that commanders are equipped with the proper tools in their units to sustain a comprehensive effort to maximize human potential and ensure fair treatment for all persons based solely on merit, fitness and capability in support of readiness.

The objective of the Army Equal Opportunity (EO) program is to ensure fair and equal treatment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin or sexual orientation, and maintain an environment free of sexual harassment that fosters fitness, cohesion and promotes military readiness through the maximum development and utilization of human relations training.

EOA's provide EO training and assist the command on all matters concerning EO for military personnel and their family members; initiate and process Command Climate Surveys; train Unit EO Leaders.

In addition, we coordinate the EO annual observances and events for the installation.
