The Post Status page will have important information about our operating status. include employee work schedule, open or closed gates, and roads on-post that can be hazardous.

Important - Official notification is via YOUR chain of command. It is vital that all military, DA civilians, contractors and their families understand their individual and unit responsibilities when it comes to dealing with severe weather in the spring or winter seasons.
View local weather conditions from the National Weather Service (NWS). The NWS will also post Hazardous Weather Conditions (Watches, Warnings & Advisories) if needed.
Current and projected weather forecasts are tracked by the Garrison Emergency Operations Center (EOC).

Units, Directorates, and families residing on Fort Leavenworth will be immediately notified of any weather emergency. These notifications are accomplished in numerous ways:
