We conduct on-site safety inspections of garrison facilities and tenant command operations; instill policies and procedures for a comprehensive Garrison Safety Program; provide technical advice to the Garrison Commander and staff on integration of safety and risk management into all missions and functions within the command; plan and organize Additional Duty Safety Officer (ADSO) assignments and manage the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) course.

Motorcycle access to the post:
All U.S. military personnel who operate a motorcycle and/or scooter are required to present a valid Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) card and their CAC card to Gate Security Officers prior to entering the installation. Personnel who fail to present a valid MSF or CAC card will be denied access to the installation.

Follow these steps to get your MSF card:

Step 1
See your Local Digital Training Management System (DTMS) Unit Manager to enroll in a Course.
The Safety Office CANNOT enroll you!

Step 2
After the Local DTMS Unit Manager has you enrolled, email the Safety Office at:
Please provide a personal phone number (NO work phone) so that the Safety Office can notify you of any Course changes.
You MUST be confirmed 10 days prior to the start date!
Prior to the course, supervisors will ensure that each individual motorcycle passes T-CLOCS inspection.

Step 3
Attend the course, or notify the Local DTMS Unit Manager within 72 hours, prior to course start, if you need to cancel.
